Our mindset

"I am because we are," emphasising humanity and compassion.

Our programs involve trainings in Farming and incubating soup kitchen projects around The Kingdom of Eswatini.

Vision

Cultivating a future where every individual in the Kingdom of Eswatini thrives with food security and embraces self-sustainability through our nutritional gardening initiatives.

Objectives

Our objectives include enriching communities, improving dietary intake, and building a resilient foundation for a future where no child goes hungry in Eswatini.

Mission

Eswatini Angels is dedicated to establishing self-sustaining nutritional gardens that empower and nourish the lives of vulnerable groups, especially children, within the Kingdom of Eswatini.

Our Faith

Guided by the belief that teaching sustainable practices is the key to lasting change, we strive to address food insecurity by creating indigenous gardens, fostering community engagement, and providing hands-on nutrition education.

About us

Eswatini Angels, established in December 2013, promotes community engagement in indigenous gardening and sustainable living. As a registered NGO in the USA and Eswatini, we enhance food security through nutritional gardening for underserved communities, schools, senior centers, and residential areas. Our initiatives include farm-to-table activities, environmental awareness, nutritional education, farmers markets, and more. Through partnerships with expert nutritionists, we offer hands-on nutrition classes for both youth and adult garden programs. Our community gardening program addresses food insecurity, improves dietary intake, and strengthens family relationships.

Projects

Our projects primarily benefit school soup kitchens, addressing the nutritional requirements of children who, at times, walk long distances to school without having food at home. The school feeding program plays a pivotal role in meeting this essential need for school-going children.

Indigenous gardening

Project duration ranges from 14-21 days based on garden size. Any deviations from approved evaluation forms necessitate additional approval from Founders. Our RD oversees all processes, regularly updating and consulting with Founders through daily internet communication.

Soup kitchen

In Mntulwini, Msunduza, Eswatini Angels promotes household and community gardens, advocating for one house, one garden. We empower families with sustainable garden projects, ensuring quick harvests within four weeks, providing nutrition and water efficiency.

Target group

We aid vulnerable children, individuals, and families across the four districts of the Kingdom of Eswatini, each overseen by a distinct Chief. Amid thousands of households, a significant number, led by “children raising children” or grandparents (Gogo), face daily food security challenges. Our primary focus is supporting these children and care centers that provide daily meals for hundreds of children.
